3 October 2011, Manila, Philippines -- Industry bodies representing advertiser, agency and publisher stakeholders, the Internet Mobile and Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) and Philippines Association of National Advertisers (PANA), announced their support of the move to bring to the Philippines standardized Online Audience Measurement. The announcement was made recently during I-COM’s Session on ‘Measuring Digital - The Next Stage to Growth’ at the IMMAP Summit in Manila.
In addition, as an outcome of a subsequent I-COM Industry Leadership Strategy Workshop, IMMAP and PANA agreed to form a JIC (Joint Industry Committee), an independent body comprising media owner, agency and advertiser representatives, to guarantee the accuracy, impartiality and transparency of the Online Audience Measurement in the Philippines.
